Total of 35 students attended. Here are some feedback from them. I had a great experience. I got to ask a few questions about different collages. I even got a little more educated on the qualifications/requirements for collage. Texas A&M has a great engineering, medical, agricultural and architecture program. I learned what the average SAT score was for multiple schools. I also learned that Texas A&M has really good medical, agricultural, business, and architectural . They use class ranking to recruit students and they take the top 25%. I learned that baylor doesnt require a tsi score and for the sat score has to be between 1140-1310. if you dont go to a ranking achool it wont affect you getting into baylor. Baylor is ranked #13 nationally in undergraduate engineering. I learned that Texas A& M is the first public institution of higher learning in Texas, and I also learned that Baylor is a christian university that is based on Christianity foundation and it's also ranked number 13 in nationality for undergraduate engineering. This online college fair was a very beneficial thing for me to take part of. It broadened my horizons of the exploration of college options I never knew I had. this college fair helped me explore the schools that can assist me in the advancement of my future career in the medical field. I asked several colleges about grade point averages, and what percentages they take for acceptance into their college, I also looked into class rank and that the top 25% rank is what most colleges look for. I also tried to look into the different classes that each college offers and compared to see which classes and which college would most benefit me. Attending the virtual college was very beneficial and helpful. I personally think is better than attending it physically because they answer every single one of the questions and it gets crowded sometimes. I hope to do this again because it was an awesome experience! My online selection was an amazing experience. I was able to identify what colleges I can apply to, find out more about colleges, see what colleges had to offer, and explore what I need to get in. I took in account of colleges I never heard of and they seem to assist me in my education upon successful entry . I talked to only Baylor University because it was the only college that was live, and that I took interest in. My first question was regarding the GPA requirement Baylor has for freshmen students. The representative notified me that at Baylor they do not record admitted student GPA's, but that the freshmen are usually top 25% of their high school class. I also asked about average SAT scores. The average range for Baylor, critical reading and math, was 1140-1310. I finally asked them about help with choosing a major. I explained how I'm interested in history and want to pursue a medical career. They told me that I can major in a history and follow the requirements to receive a pre-med certificate at the same time, so that was great. I finally received a link to Baylor's MAP (Major Academic Planner) which explains the required courses for each plan and major.
